GCH to SNA - SuperShuttle or DLR Express?

We'll be staying at the GCH in early January. We're doing a very quick 1-night side trip to San Francisco in the middle of our stay, flying out of/into SNA. Just found out our flight times have been brought forward a bit. We currently have transfers booked with SuperShuttle, but I'm thinking about cancelling and changing to DLR Express as I've had a few issues with SuperShuttle when I've made other booking changes. Would DLR Express be a better choice? Or what about a taxi, would that be quicker and easier? Given time constraints we'd like to minimise time and hassles. Thanks for any advice!

I've done both, I would get a taxi if you are looking for quick and easy. The time I took the DL Express bus, we had to stop at the Disneyland Hotel and change busses. They also collected the fares there.

I see on your signature that you'll be traveling with your sister and niece. Is you niece carseat aged (under six or under 60 pounds)? If so, you might prefer Disneyland Express since you wouldn't have to worry about using a carseat. If it's not a factor because you have a carseat for her or she's old enough to not need a carseat (now watch, you're going to respond saying she's 20 and I'm going to blush furiously, I just know it!), then SuperShuttle is probably a bit cheaper even if you apply coupon codes to the Disneyland Express.

The taxi is actually not that bad of an option price-wise since the three of you would be using it. I used this option when flying into SNA a few weeks ago because I wanted the shortest possible travel time so I could catch WOC that night (I had pre-purchased a picnic dinner). It cost me $45 (including a $5 tip) to travel from the airport to Best Western Stovall's during rush hour traffic.

My neice is 8! so not 20, but also old enough not to have to worry about carseats. Taxi is starting to sound like the better option now, at least it will be a direct trip there and back. I imagine it's pretty easy to organise a taxi pickup at GCH? And I assume there's a taxi rank at SNA to go back to GCH? Also, approximately how long is the trip? The flight is at 7pm on a weeknight so we'll be travelling during peak hour.

Yeah, I'd agree with the idea of using a Taxi... not the "coolest" but price wise it ends up being one of the better choices--- and convenient!
