I just want to make sure I understand the new rules. To go from GCH to Disneyland, you go through security in the hotel, as you're exiting to Downtown Disney? Does this mean there are no security checkpoints between Downtown Disney and the turnstiles/DL entrance?

Do the new rules also state that you have to be a guest or have a dining reservation to enter GCH? Is that true for both the main entrance and the Downtown Disney entrance? Has this measure improved the lines sometimes found at GCH's entrance to DCA, especially at park open?

Correct. when leaving the hotel to enter Downtown Disney you are entering the Disney security bubble. You can then walk to either the Disneyland Main entrance or the Monorail entrance or the California Adventures main entrance without any further security checks.

Incorrect. At the street entrance to GCH you need to be a guest or have a dining reservation to enter the hotel. Anyone can enter the hotel FROM the Downtown Disney entrance or the California Adventures entrance.

We just stayed there 2 weeks ago. I agree with all of this - for good measure!
