GCH has great prices

With the current hotel discounts, I Noticed that Grand Californian Hotel actually has cheaper prices than Paradise Pier and DL Hotel for some dates.

I'd like to know how - when I looked on the site and the cheapest days are weekday rates and are running on average GCH at $348/night vs DLH for $263/night..

We just booked a 5 night stay from Jan 25th - Jan 30th at DLH for $281/night + tax for a premium view room and that was still far cheaper than the GCH rooms.

I don't know of any current pricing anomalies on the Disneyland website, but they have certainly been there in the past.

The last times I stayed at a Disney hotel was at the Paradise Pier in the summers of 2011 and 2012. In both summers, I found numerous examples on the Disneyland website's "Passholder rate calendar" where concierge rooms at the PP were $20 or $30 LESS than the non-concierge rooms, and examples where it was actually cheaper to choose a room with a view rather than a non-view room.

Since I no longer stay at Disney hotels, I don't keep close track of hotel prices. But, based upon past experience, I don't doubt that pricing anomalies do creep into the website from time to time.

Currently, Disneyland is running a special on premium rooms with a 25% discount. I got DLH Premium room for $225 for 3 of 5 of our nights. It was way cheaper than a standard room. Likely, that was what was seen.

Also if you are a Disney Visa cardholder you can book the same rates with their package code "VIS"but I believe it must be paid with the card.

With the 60th and spring break , etc I think it will be very unlikely to see spring offers from the past bu not completely out of the question. You can always try Orbitz who has a code "Review15" that is good through March 31st booking.

I believe so but we were able to add 5 day parkhoppers also no problem at all as part of the whole package. Only the room was discounted but comes with some extras as stated on the page.

Prices during summer and anytime around the anniversary are going to be insanely high - it sounds like only a suite was available for that price.

It's why we opted for dealing with refurbs and lower prices

I got GCH for 1/25-1/28 for $297 per night then the "review15" discount through orbitz - grand total only $253 per night
