GCH Craftsman Bar for sit-down lunch

We have a lunch reservation at the GCH Craftsman Bar for our DCA days over 4th of July weekend. Are we able to enter the GCH through the side entrance directly from the park? Will we be able to re-enter DCA the same way? Or will we have to go through DTD and enter through the main gates?

Is there regular table seating, or we will be seated at the bar?

We usually eat inside the parks, but I was unable to get a reservation for in-park dining for our trip. Thanks for any help!

There is no good answer for this right now.

Currently the rules state you cannot use the DCA gate unless you are a guest. There are rumors that they might let you into the hotel that way as long as you can prove a reservation for the restaurant, but nothing in writng. The current rules state you definitely cannot exit that way. This could change after June 15th though so who knows?
As for seating, there are plenty of regular tables, but you COULD be seated at the bar, as the bar is currently not open for seating but again, that could change. So basically the current answer is (shrug)

We’re eating there on June 14th, so I can report back as well. We’re a party of 6 though.

If we have to leave through the main gates and go through DTD, we might as well eat lunch at a DTD restaurant.
