I just wanted to ask if there is a room category at the Grand Californian hotel that allows for viewing fireworks from te room ( like Magic kingdom view rooms at Contemorary).

Thanks

:)

I believe the DTD view rooms are what you want.

I think the best chance is a premium DTD view but i think it's more of a side view at best if you are lucky enough to see much.

We stayed DTD a few years back and had a great view.

Good to know. Picturing where the room face compared to where the castle is, it's hard to figure how much of a view you can actually get.

For the most part you can see the fireworks great, the castle display is another issue. The only way that can be accomplished(all inclusive) is be in the hub. Just about everywhere else or will only get a partial view of the castle, etc.

We had a DTD view on our last trip (6th floor I think) and it was wonderful. We watched the fireworks every night except the first night from our room. The kiddos would pass out and we would enjoy sitting on the balcony, with the music piped in from our tv.

I don't think you can see much of the castle at all but the fireworks are spectacular.

DH and I thought we had a great view to enjoy the fireworks. It was only after the fact that we found out about the castle display. oops.
