I can not seem to find pricing info on the Villas for reservation from Disney.
Are they availble to non-owners yet??

I like the one-bedroom for us.

I have heard you can try get a ressie 60 days out.(Unless renting points. Last check on 1 bedroom was $1010/night, studio was $820/night if I remember correctly. Currently booked thru Oct unless there is a cancellation.

We rented points and got a 1 bedroom for a week in August and the ressie was made at seven month's out. Can't wait, it should be interesting.

I was talking to my guide yesterday.. he was saying they are not doing cash reservations at this time...Perhaps he was not updated if they were, but we were adding on points and were talking in general about how booked the villas have been and he was saying how they are not letting people rent via cash at this time.

We own at SSR and booked a 2 bedroom this June at 7 mos. out. :thumbsup2

The cash prices are INSANE! One week in a one bedroom is half the cost of owning DVC. :upsidedow

we are going in June..staying in a 1bedroom..on a wait list for 2bdroom.. note to self..book more than 4months in advance lol!! our guide was telling me to book sooner than later.. I am not used to this.. we have points AK and the grand.. I just added on to that one..

You have to remember the GCV is the *smallest* of the DVC resorts, AND the first one in California (or actually west of Florida, as far as that's concerned), so it's very popular.

Yes, even if all the villas aren't booked at the 7-11 month mark, at 7 months reservations open to the hundreds of thousands of DVC owners from other resorts. So unless someone trades points for an exchange/cruise, once the resort is sold I doubt very much cash reservations will be available there--ever.

The supervisor cm I spoke to said they would be open at 60's from your booking rate if any wre available. Since I do not belong to DVC I do not have numbers to call to get specifics.
