I am considering a two bedroom suite for our upcoming trip. We are a family of four and need extra space. I would like some info on layout and cost. I have read that the two bedrooms are just a one bedroom suite with an additional room???

The layout you just described is accurate on the rooms at the other Disney hotels I've seen. You can see a picture if you look at the disneyland.com website and see the details on the GCH. I know the rooms are larger than the DLH and my in-laws went with us in February - that's where we stayed and they had 2 adults and 4 children in their room (one usually spent the night with us for fun.) That was NOT a suite either and we did have room, a little cramped but it was good enough for 5 kids to be able to play together still.

We have stayed in them a couple of times over the last couple years. They can range from about 800+ in the off season to over 1600+ during Thanksgiving. I think they are kind of on the small side and some of them that are located on top of the World of Disney are a really LONG walk once you get to the hotel. I prefer the DisneyLand Hotel suites especially the ones on the top couple of floors in the previously named Bonita towers. The ones on the corners have really large balconies, which is nice. Good luck on your decision.

ps. That 1600 does not even include Conceirge.:confused3

Yes. The green paper stuff. The price is ridiculous if you ask me, but my family chooses to do it sometimes.

My family (2 daughters and 2 granddaughters and myself) stayed in a GC 2 bedroom suite in June. :cool1: It is a 1 bedroom suite with a connecting bedroom. They are on the corners of the hotel so they can also be a 3 bedroom suite (1 bedroom suite plus 2 connecting bedrooms). It is a long walk from the elevators but you can go down the stairs that are right there and out into Downtown Disney or into the pool area. We really enjoyed the extra room because we had a stroller and a 3 year old who needed naps. She could sleep in the master bedroom and we could enjoy the living room or the fantastic balcony that wraps around your suite. 2 bathrooms and a wet bar area with refrigerator was VERY nice - pricey but nice :dance3:
