GC Pools - how crowded this week?

If you've stayed at the GC recently, I'd love to hear how it has been at the pools. Were you able to find lounges/chairs? Thanks in advance for sharing your perspective and experience.

Hi Carrie,
I was at DL yesterday with a group of friends meeting for a birthday dinner. While sitting in the birthday girls room, we looked out her Neverland pool view room in the Dreams tower and let me just say that I have never seen such a crowded pool in my life! All the loungers were taken, many being shared and there is no way you could "swim" without touching several people. That said, bear in mind, it was late afternoon on a hot summer day - it was in the upper 80's. Actually, it looked quite inviting, but VERY crowded! I would expect the Grand pool was the same.

Nope. Not the same. With the wall that is up for the Villas. There is some missing room for lounges. We were there last week, couldn't find lounges till late in the afternoon when people were leaving for dinner, had to use a table. The little kids slide is closed cuz the wall is right next to it, you can't go that way to get to the showers or tables over there, you have to go around by the big slide. With the wall, the whole area seems smaller.

but it was weird cuz the pools themselves weren't crowded.

see. not crowded at all and this was about 2pm on Sunday. But the darn lounges were all taken by Hitchhiking ghosts!

Me too! We leave a week from Monday...just dh and me! No kids!

Hi there! I know this might sound strange, but we were just at the GC pool this week, and my niece saw this picture and said, hey that's Leah's sister! Is this really Leah's sister?? If so, it is a small world after all!!

They've already headed back home so i'll have to ask them which one they were talking about. You never know, they may think every girl in the pool is Leah's sister!

Hope you enjoyed your trip as much as we did!! I didn't think the crowds were bad at all. And the weather was just perfect!
