GC excursion question

We would like to do Stingray City but my DS8 wants no parts of it, however he would like to go to the turtle farm. My thought was to book the shorter trip with Capt. Marvins then go back to the ship to eat lunch and pick up DS8. When we get back to port grab a taxi and go to the Turtle Farm. Has anyone have another option, any advise would be great.

Why not try a compromise, book the stingray / turtle tour through nativeway / capt marvins etc and tell ds that that way you both get to do something you want after all you're paying
the chances are he'll want to jump right in when he sees how much fun you're having with the rays. Good luck

I do know that with Captain Marvins you do not have to get in the water, they were just great with my DS who loved snorkling the reef but was at first overwhelmed by the stingrays, the guide had him side on the side of the boat and picked on up and carried it over to him to feed, after a bit he got in. Some kids just stayed on the boat and watched.
