We have one of those gazebo things from Target that we purchased 5 years ago. The original cover ripped about a month into the second season of use. I was able to track down the place to order a new cover (i got 2), BUT they were PRICEY - like $150 each. The second cover we put up lasted a full 2 years & I went to put it up today and it ripped. So, I'm on my last cover!!! 
I am thinking of spraying it with some kind of UV protector. Has anyone done this? or used a UV protectant for anything else like a boat cover or something? Do you think it will extend the life of the cover?
