We were at the AK Lodge for dinner on our final night, and I have to say that it is a truly beautiful resort. You will have a great time there. I now have to talk John into staying there the next time we go (He will always be partial to the Wilderness Lodge). I hope you have more zebras keeping you company!

Yes, back in December we stayed for one night, just to try it out in anticipation of this trip, with zebras right outside my window all night, and we are really looking forward to 10 days.

You bet, this is the 20th, hon!!!

Plus, to my mind, one of the major perks of staying concierge is the ability to do the safaris, so we're doing the Sunrise Safari at AK, with breakfast to follow at Tusker House and then we're doing the sunset safari at AKL, with dinner to follow at Jiko.

Can't wait!

Paul and I are doing both the Sun rise and the Sun set safaris.
Paul and I are big animal enthusiast.

It also is a combined celebration for us-
Paul's and my birthdays (both fall babies)
and our anniversary as well.

Happy Anniversary and, yes, we too are HUGE animal lovers. We currently have two border collies, one rescued, but as soon as we own more land I think we'll get crazy!
