Gaylord palms ice question

So I have decided I HAVE to go to see Ice at the gaylord palms! BUT I am staying at POR. So I am trying to find out what the cheapest way to get there would be! Im sure disney does not want people to leave their resort so I know they dont have shuttles going to gaylord palms but does gaylord palm offer a pick up shuttle for this event from like downtown disney maybe? Or would a taxi make sense? We have 6ppl so im sure that would add up quick! And it looks like it is close but not walking distance to any parks or hotels. Am I wrong? If anyone has done this and has any info that would be GREAT!!!!! TIA!
