It sounds like they keep things moving along. Anyone been Tgiving or an otherwise crowded time at the parks? I was wondering about lines to see ICE.

I haven't made up my mind if I am going to this or not....I hate to pay for parking....

if I go I will let you know - going to Orlando this Friday.

Went last year to the Ice Scupltures at Gaylord. Went on the Sat after Thanksgiving--had a good time. Crowded, yes, but still fun. We were able to see all we wanted to see, including Santa--and we had a big group --17 and we were able to stick together when we wanted to. Enjoy

I actually went to this twice last year. Once in early December and again in late December / early January (when we stayed at the hotel). This event CAN get very crowded. The first time we went we got there about 11am and the place was packed. We had to wait about an hour to get into the display. The second time we went about 5 minutes before the event opened and we waited maybe 10-15 minutes. But staying in the hotel the second time we noticed the lines were fairly short in the evening. There are tons of things to do at Gaylord besides the ICE display. I might suggest you plan to spend a few hours there perhaps even plan on eating dinner at one of the onsite restaurants. Gaylord has a ton of shops and they do alot of live Christmas events throughout the day. Go to the Gaylord Palms website and click on the event calander for the day you plan on coming to see what else is going on.
