Pirates Treasure Hunt Challenge is a contest of skill that will give Pirates Treasure Hunt Challenge package guests an opportunity to act, and think, like pirates as they traverse the resort and decipher clever clues, solve intricate puzzles and perform other “piratey” tasks for a panel of judges.

The Pirates Treasure Hunt Challenge has been designed to be family-friendly, great fun and extremely challenging. Clues and tasks will unfold over the course of your two-day stay at Gaylord Palms Resort. Families will rely on their wits and cunning – earning points as they complete each task at hand. Points are assigned according to judging guidelines, which will be revealed along with the clue. At the end of the Memorial Day weekend 2007, the family that has accumulated the greatest number of points during their treasure hunt challenge will claim the pirates prize of $10,000.

Buccaneer BBQ
Saturday, May 26, 5pm
Join Captain Blackheart and his crew of pirate scoundrels for an outdoor feast featuring the Captain’s favorite grub and grog! There’ll even be a special buffet for the wee pirates with all of their favorites (like chicken fingers, hot dogs, burgers and fries!)
Adults: $29.99 (plus tax)
Children (under 12): $14.99 (plus tax)

*Event will be held outdoors weather permitting.

Camp Pirate
Learn how to speak, dress and act like a pirate! Each child will be provided an eye patch, toy scabbard, earring, various temporary tattoos and a balloon parrot to wear on their shoulder. Once transformed, our pirates in training will work to perfect their pirate voices, growls and scowls. They’ll be treated to pirate stories, and imaginative fun with their new pirate friends.

One hour program; $20 per child
This activity is reserved for our guests ages 5 -12.
Camp Pirate will be held:
Friday, May 25 5:30pm
Saturday, May 26 9:30am and 3:30pm
Sunday, May 27 10:00am and 5:00pm
