What's really too bad is that there is no vaccine for Bigotry, Intolerance and Discrimination
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!! I so think some people need to get a real life and realize that it would be such a boring world if we were all the same with all the same ideas.
My kids are mixed and have endured racism but they learn from it. They are very understanding of other people's choices (with the exception of peds) and know that they will run into bigots and unfortunately will even run iton them within their own extended families.
I served in the US Army with individuals that were gay and would do it again in a heartbeat. Some of my best friends in the Army had different sexual preferences than I did.
I prefer to educate my kids on differences than to run away scared and make a big deal about it. My 8 year old was 7 the first time she saw a show that had two women kissing and she questioned that. I explained it to her on her level of understanding.
