Gay Days

Forgive me if this has already been posted, I was searching and couldn't find anything, we just found out that our trip will be over gay days weekend, which we have nothing againist at all, so I don't even want to offend anyone, my question is simply this, do the parks still operate the same, parades, characters out, etc. For those who have been to the park when this event has been going on, could you please let me know what to expect. Thank you so much.

Yes - everything is exactly the same. Same parades, characters, etc, etc.

You can find info out about which park the mass of them will be attending by searching Google for Gay Days 2006.

We accidently went to WDW for the weekend on Gay Day weekend 2004 - I was shocked at how empty the MK was! Shocked! I had read how overly crowded everything was, but I think most families high-tail it out of there...which was fine for Fiance and me.... I dont care WHO is in front of me in a short line, just how many....

But - simply answered - yes, exactly the same.
