Gay Days crowds... Into the week after, or the actual weekend only?

Hi all

We have always managed to time our Fall Break trip the week BEFORE the Gay Days weekend, but next year will likely put us there the weekend AFTER it due to the school schedule. Can anyone comment on the usual crowd levels the week AFTER Gay Days? Does it generally remain crowded on Monday or have most of the crowds dispersed by then? Our trip is usually a Monday thru Friday kind of thing.

Thanks for anyone's feedback on this!

Never been, but if it is like Dapper Days then the crowds are about the same the week after as the week before. Check to see the days that convention rates apply for discounts. For Dapper Days , it is two weeks.

Also, I think GD was first weekend in Oct. The following week Arizona schools were out for Fall Break and the parks were very crowded. Check out my thread about Disneyland App now has FP return times where I kept track of when FPs s for RSR ran out by 11am

I was there last week, Thursday PM and Friday AM until noon and it was PACKED! Not sure that helps, but there were a lot of people ahead of the big weekend. Heard a lot of shout outs for Arizona and Utah while I was there.

I feel like it's been crazy busy this week, but then I again, my tolerance for the crowds has waned over time.

We just attended our fourth consecutive Gay Days. Saturday and Sunday were very busy, more crowded than prior years -- the new 60th shows are increasing crowds.
Monday crowds were very manageable, but still somewhat more than usual. As an example: Cove Bar had a long line on Monday, but not Tuesday.
Crowds were quite light for our final morning on Wednesday, I assume guests from the prior weekend have left and guests for the coming weekend have not arrived.

Of course next year the Jewish Holidays that everyone complained about this year in September will be in October.

Being a LONG RANGE planned, I asked GD's for the dates in 2016.
Here's the reply I received.

Sept 30- Oct. 2!

Have fun!

We arrived Saturday evening 10-3. Went into the parks with a Twilight Ticket and found the parks crowded. Difficult to ride anything, long lines most everywhere. Enjoyed the vibe of the crowd though.

Sunday was super busy in DL. We took the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour at 9:30am. In the afternoon we roamed around taking pic with characters. Evil Queen over by Pixie Hallow was being herself keeping the line in order.

Monday was busy too. Having EE made it nice to get a few rides accomplished before the crowd grew.
The day was busier than Monday's have been for us in the past.

Tuesday was only a little lighter crowd wise. By Wednesday the crowds seemed to calm down.

Wednesday's MHP was very nice. The people moved freely through the parks. Many rides were walk on to our surprise!

The longer parks hours were most likely a big draw to many.

Thanks, all. Geemo, that's perfect since I could not find info on their website.

We will probably arrive Sunday or Monday and hope for diminishing crowds as the week continues. I guess I better go look up the CHOC Walk date too!
