Gay Day Crowds

This is only a question about crowds during gay days. We are planning on being at DL 9/18-9/22. How much over the normal crowds with gay days add?

Last time we went to DL in October 2023 over Columbus Day weekend and it was quite crowded but we managed just fine. Will it be more or less crowded than that weekend?

In my experience, those 2 weekends are about the same crowd wise. Gay Days patrons will be spread out through the parks and hotels. They also have off site activities. So, it's fairly manageable if you can handle Columbus Day.

It’s been a couple of years since I happened to be there during gay day. I didn’t notice a crowd increase that was anything significant. It’s a great vibe and everyone is dressed up or matching. Cool stuff.

It's a fun time and honestly doesn't seem as popular post pandemic with reservation system, plus Disney has their own official Pride after dark event nights now during summertime.
