now what happens and what is the process??? He just said that he will be mailing everything out to me to sign..is that it?

Well, its more than just a credit card slip that you have to sign. You'll shortly get a ton of paper which you are expected to read and sign in multiple places. There will be a copy for you to keep and a copy to be mailed back to DVC.

Keep you guide's phone number handy, you'll want to ask your guide any questions in order to get the official answer.

Lots of stuff to sign, but for me, there is something extra fun about signing a document that has a Mickey Mouse Head coming out from behind the signature box!

Have fun!!

You should get your paperwork Tuesday or Wednesday...read thoroughly...sign by the palm trees and make sure everything is correct. Have the info notorized that is needed and mail back. We purchased last June. We joined on Saturday, had paperwork on Tuesday, signed and notorized Wednesday, mailed back Thursday and on Disney's desk Friday. We closed about a month later.:thumbsup2

Welcome Home!!!

Where did you decide to buy, we bought in at AKV?

If you're ready to make a reservation, your guide can do it for you now (even though you haven't signed any paperwork yet.)

Normally you have to make a reservation yourself through Member Services, but your guide can help you the first time.

I was surprised how little paperwork there was when I bought my new contract at BLT. I don't remember when we bought our first contract at BWV 5 years ago how much paperwork there was.

I was also able to bank the 2009 points and book a trip in 2010 before I even paid for the new contract. I called my guide in Dec 2009 and said I would be able to pay by end of Jan. She said no problem. I finally gave her my credit card 6 weeks later.
