Gatwick Airport lounge

Hi all

has anyone ever used the airport lounge before a flight, we have 3 kids and our son is 11 and a half but looks a lot older, do they check the ages of the kids to make sure there 12 or do they only check if they look younger?

also is it worth the money

i have booked a lounge for birmingham airport ,i would also be interested in what they are like,i will have 2 girls aged 14 and 16

It would be nice to hear from someone who's used it as I've just checked the website and it's 17.95ea!! I was thinking of booking it as a surprise for my husband and friends, so any comments would be helpful.

Have used exec lounges at loads of airports, they are usually just quieter places to sit, read use the internet and get a snack and drink before boarding. they just tend to offer a more relaxed atmosphere to wait in so you're not all piled over the chairs in the departure lounge
