Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge

Needing to get away for a weekend to de-stress and the drive to Gatlinburg is about five hours so DH and I have decided to make that little trip the first weekend of May. Does anyone have any recommendations for a clean place to stay that is budget-friendly (we want to go to WDW this fall)? TIA.

We have rented a house through Mountain Laurel Chalets and were very happy. The price was reasonable, the house was nice, and everything was super clean.

We just stayed at a Bed & Breakfast here earlier this week. It was very nice -- we had a groupon cert for 2 nights in a cottage room. It's about 5 minutes to Stoplight 8 in Pigeon Forge.

We have stayed several different places in that area through the years (cabins, hotels...) and have NEVER had a bad experience. Everything is very clean there!

If you are just looking for a cheaper hotel, we enjoyed the Family Inn and Suites in Pigeon Forge. Very Clean and had a nice little balcony overlooking the river.
