We are hosting a private dessert party at the UK Lower Terrace as part of our 10th anniversary vow renewal.

What is the fastest way for us to get to the International Gateway - for instance, if we valet parked at the BW and then walked to IG - would this be a good plan?

We will be driving from the Grand Floridian.

I'm also looking for a way to get 5 adults and 2 children from the All Star Movies to the IG.

I may end up shuttling them in our van. Or are there shuttle services on property other than the typical taxi service?

Just for info, how long would it take our guests to arrive at IG using Disney transportation?

I'd like to make this easy for our guests but need to save some money.

Thanks,
Kim

I would say that parking at the BW and using valet and then walking to the IG would be the fastest and easiest way for you. The boat ride is nice, but can take a long time.

Your friends at the All Star will have to take a bus to MGM (I would think that would be the closest) and then another bus to the BW or Yacht and Beach Club in order to get to the IG using Disney Transportation. They could also take the boat from MGM; that might be faster than a 2nd bus.

There are no buses from MGM to the BC, YC, BWV, BWI, Swan or Dolphin Hotels. To get to any of these hotels from MGM, you can either walk or take the boat. FWIW, it's a little over a third of a mile from the Boardwalk Lobby to the International Gateway. It's approximately three quarters of a mile from the MGM entrance to the Boardwalk Lobby. You will have to change boats to get all the way from MGM to the International Gateway.

I'd recommend that the All Star Movies guests just take the bus to EPCOT and walk through Future World to the private party location. IMHO, that will be faster than going to MGM and then walking or boating to the International Gateway from MGM. I would estimate it will take an average walker about 15 minutes to walk from the EPCOT front entrance to the International Gateway area.

Congratulations on your upcoming 10th anniversary!
