Assuming I am able to take my NWA flight on Saturday (pending hurricane and strike!) anyone have any advice for gate checking a stroller? I have read on their website that you can take on the umbrella type, but mine is definitely not that small. Do I just go to the gate before hand, or do I need to do something else? Anyone have any info on this? Thanks bunches!

When you get to your departure gate, tell the gate agent that you will be gate checking your stroller. You'll be given a tag or two to fill out, and the gate agent will put a tag on the stroller itself. Do yourself and EVERYONE a favor, don't wait to do this until just before boarding -- do it ASAP (but no need to rush, if you KWIM).

When it's time to board, go as you normally would. When you reach the end of the jetway, pull over to the side before entering the aircraft, allowing everyone to pass by you as you fold up your stroller (taking care to first remove your child :lmao: ). Leave it off to the side up against the wall of the jetway near (but not blocking) the outer door. You can now board the aircraft.

After you land, exit the aircraft as usual, but as soon as you exit, pull over to the side inside the jetway. Stand there and wait for a ramper to bring your stroller up there -- if you're REALLY lucky it'll already be there.

Because you're going to and from MCO, it's a sure thing you won't be the only passenger gate checking a stroller.

It's really a very easy process.

HAVE FUN!!! I bet you'll have great weather, no labor problems, and a magical time! :wizard:
