Gate Checking a stroller

I thought I read somewhere that the rules on "gate checking" a stroller have changed. Can anybody confirm this? If so, what are the new rules? We are leaving early Thursday morning and wanted to make sure we didn't have any problems with checking it in at the gate.

I think this was specific to a certain airline. You may want to call the airline you are booked with and see what the policy is.

Gate checked with Southwest last month with no change from prior.

The change was on American Airlines.

yep. specific to the airline - Southwest is no charge.
