Gaston's 60 egg a day diet would cost him...

It seems to me if any restaurant on property offers hardboiled eggs as a side order they are at cheapest priced at 3.49. For instance the Contempo Cafe sells two hard boiled eggs as a side. For 5 dozen eggs (60) it would cost Gaston approximately $104.70 before taxes just for his breakfast that allows him to become roughly the size of a barge. 60 eggs would also be roughly 4500 calories just for breakfast but there's a lot of walking in the parks to burn that off so he'll be fine.

I think if he really ate that many eggs a day he might have more to worry about than how much they cost. His doctor might have something to say about it, unless he is seperating out the yolks and only eating the whites.

I think if he really ate that many eggs a day he might have more to worry about than how much they cost. His doctor might have something to say about it, unless he is seperating out the yolks and only eating the whites.

By his own admission he's the strongest man in town...lest we forget he's got "biceps to spare". Assuming his 60 eggs a day diet is frontloading his daily calories for his workout regiment, he could be employing an intermittent fasting diet the rest of the day. 4500 calories is nothing for a man who decorates with antlers...just sayin. The eggs in provincial France were also probably smaller than what we're used to in our modern American diet so it may really be even closer to 3000 calories. Although he does consume quite a bit of alcohol so there is that...
