A tropical storm is not going to bother much other than trees and power lines.

Hurricane Frances is the one that I'm watching! Currently 135 mph winds and "seems to be on an inexorable course toward the southeastern U. S. Thus, all residents along the coast there should monitor the progress of Frances closely."

I'm here in Hilton Head and it's clear and sunny! Headed to the beach this evening....

Hilton Head certainly has been lucky!!

DD attends college in Charleston and has had quite the adventure today! The driveway up to her apartment was pretty much a big lake and is just now receding. She hasn't had power since about 10 or 11 this morning...

She's sending pictures as soon as she can get on the Internet and I can't wait to see them. I'm just glad they didn't have to evacuate!!!
