Gasparilla Island Grill Open?

I was reading menus on AllEars, and on the Gasparilla Island Grill menu page, it reads, "While Gasparilla Island Grill is closed for refurbishments, Beaches Pool Bar will be serving Breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m., as well as Lunch/Dinner from 11 am to 9 p.m., through December 2016." (I know it's past December, but the text box is still up.)

Is it back open again? We're doing a quick trip in about a month and doing only quick service restaurants. We'll be staying at VGF our last night and are thinking of giving this place a try. Disney Food Blog gives it solid marks, but this AllEars post makes it sound like Gasparilla items are being found at Beaches Pool Bar currently.
