Well...not really. I've had long hair forever and ever. My ponytail was 3/4 of the way down my hair. It was getting frizzy and damaged looking so I decided it was definitely time for a hair cut. I totally FREAKED when I felt my hair after they cut it. I felt like so much of it was gone that I wouldn't even be able to put it in a ponytail. :(

I was relieved though when I looked in the mirror. It's not as short as I thought, but way shorter than I'm used to.

Unfortunately I don't have a 'before' picture. But here's the after. Don't mind the ugly orange shirt, I was in my PJ's.

My neck feels nekkid.

It looks so bouncy and healthy and pretty!

Do you ever leave it down? :p
I used to leave mine down a lot but it got frizzy on the top layer and my roots always dried funny. I leave it down like 3x a week now.
It's looks shiny and healthy :)

No, never ever. My hair looks awful awful awful when it's down. No products have ever really helped it at all. So I just throw it up into a ponytail, it's so much easier.

I can't let my hair down without straightening it. It's a frizzball, but my hair doesn't look good in a ponytail unless I leave my bangs out, and those need to be straightened!

yeah i use gel, mousse, conditioner..and curling cream XD
still doesn't really help the frizzyness unless i use a large amount of gel/conditioner

thats my hair when I get up in the morning. I don't use products on it. I don't even use conditioner. i use African Black Soap in the shower, and then i'm good.

I pick it through in the shower, and I don't comb it again. Only comb curly hair when its wet. Never ever ever use a brush on curly hair.

Heres where you can buy the soap. Use it as body wash, shampoo, etc. Its about eight dollars a pound and totally worth it, because you'll never by another product again.

Hmm, that is a little pricey, but it beats buying all the products. If it's a bar, how can you get the soap in your hair? lol
And yeah, I usually comb through my hair in the shower, because if I try to comb it when it's dry it turns into a giant frizzball. I'll ask my dad if I can buy some of that stuff.

Yep, that's exactly what my hair looked like when I woke up this morning. I'll look into that soap. :)

Brush on dry curly hair = Evil combination. I only ever comb it when it's wet, I couldn't even brush it when it's dry if I wanted to.

It's not that short ;]

I got my bangs cut like two weeks ago, and I was waiting for my mother to come back and pay, so I asked the hairdresser to just trim my layers because I was certain I had a lot of split, fried and dead ends.
According to her, that wasn't. And she didn't cut anything.
I was shocked xD
Especially because my hair rarely gets a break. Sometimes I let it go curly, and on Sundays, I usually don't wash my hair because I'm not going anywhere. I'm bad, I use my straightener every day, which I really shouldn't.. but I do.
I'm really not big on the naturalness of my hair. It's like BIG poofy waves, so it makes my hair look really short, I probably won't let it go natural until my hairs long enough to make it decent.

Don't feel bad. If that's short, whadaya think of my peach fuzz?
It still looks great Jenny. If the curley-ness really bothers you have you thought of getting it chemically straightened?

On the bright side, you'll never have to worry about not enough volume.

I got a haircut on Saturday and I think I got about..4 inches off? I think it's short but none of my friends do. ;) That's just because I was so used to having LONG hair and now..it's not long.
But don't worry, it really doesn't look that short. And besiiiiiiiiiiides, hair'll grow back soon. ;D

I wish I had curly hair! By the way your hair looks great. I think that is a good length.

Oh, I don't mind it being curly. It's just really big and fuzzy sometimes.

And I have actually gotten my hair chemically straightened TWICE. It never stayed straight for more than a week. :rotfl:

Yeah, I know it's not THAT short but it's short for me. Lol.

I'm assuming lathering it onto your hands and then applying it into the hair.

But anyways, it looks pretty Jenny! I'm actually jealous of your hair.

Mine is completely useless.

My hair is naturally SUPERRR dry and frizzy. I have to use a lot of ultra-hydrating products or else it's a huge fluff afro.
I use: Biolage ultra-hydrating shampoo, balm, and occasionally a treatment. Then before I put any hairspray I put in some biosilk serum and aquage hydrating mist. That gets me through the day D:

Your hair is absolutely GORGEOUS! i wish my hair looked like that
I mean my hair is wavy, but not curly like yours i lovee it! ;)

I cut mine into tiny bars and I take them into the shower with me. The bars that I cut fit into the palm of my hand, and i get my hair really really wet and lather it into my hair, and then on my body. i use the whole little bar i cut when i'm in the shower.

This stuff is amazing.

and 8 dollars for one pound isn't bad, when a pound replaces all of my shampoo, conditioner, and soap for a month.
