Is there a gas station near the rental car return at MCO? Not sure if I need to get gas before entering MCO area.

I normally gas up at the station across from Boardwalk. I've never had an issue when returning the car, as far as gas tank fullness goes. The closer you get to MCO, the more you're going to pay.

nothing "at the airport"

on the north side entrance (528) I use the WaWa at Lee Vista and Semoran .... it is a few blocks north but past the stattions with ridiculous high prices

on the south (417) there's a WAWA just south of 417 at Boggy Creek and Lake Nona

IME if you fill at WDW and go straight to the airport you'll have no issues either . .

I always fillup the night before our departure at any local gas station. You can usually drive 20-30 miles on a full tank without the gas gauge showing any change. Also saves a bit of time the morning of departure.

This is what we also do. I top off the tank and the needle is always on full when I get to MCO.

On 528 at the first exit west of 417 is a little BP that I usually stop at. The exit is Narcossee rd.

Thank you. Your maps are helpful.

We used to stop on the way to the airport.
Now we just fill up at the station next to Boardwalk and have never had a problem returning the car with fuel.

My experience as well. I either fill up at the Speedway by the Boardwalk or at the Citco/7-11 at World Center Drive (FL536) and S Apopka Vineland Road (FL535) enroute to 417.

It's open. It's a Shell/7-11 convenience store on the south entrance to OIA by the south lot. It also has a Built Hamburger and Baja Fresh in the same building.
In & out easily early May. Prices weren’t much more than Hess at BW area.
