Gas Prices?

If anyone is there now, what are the current gas prices on Disney Property? I was just reading an article on line that said they were over $5 a gallon by the Orlando airport already.

I just checked gasbuddy and it seems to be about $3.35ish.

I just got home today and filled up the rental car about 10 minutes from the airport and paid about $3.50 a gallon

Good news -- the Hess stations on property are usually among the lowest prices in the WDW area. Bad news -- the Shell station on Vineland is usually MUCH higher than other prices in the area.

My guess is that those gas stations closest to the Rental Car Return would be among the highest in the area. That would not be unusual in my experience with airports and gas stations.

The $5-a-gallon places are just a few stations right next to the airport, gouging tourists who need to fill up their rental cars. Those prices aren't representative of the going rates anywhere else in the area.

Gas prices are going up literally every day, but yesterday they were $3.53 at the WDW Hess stations, and actually a few cents less at the nearby off-site stations.

Check Orlandogasprices.com for the latest prices, and select Lake Buena Vista in the city pull-down. I and several other members regularly update the WDW prices on that site.
