We are on our way in 2 weeks from Massachusetts and I was just wondering what gas prices look like on the way down. Avg here in MA $1.35

Thanks

hey we are also driving down in about 2 weeks from Mass!!!!!!

You'll probably find $1.15-1.20 through south jersey. Pennsylvania (if for some reason you come through it) is running about 10 cents more. Unless things have changed, NJ and Georgia will be your cheapest states.

Hope this helps,
Joe

you might find the answers to gas question on the Triple A web site, you dont have to be a member to get in to some of the links

Currently visiting Orlando area. Gas prices range from 1.19 (Costco on Orange Blossom Trail) to 1.38 (most places in Orange, Osceola and Polk counties).

Prices may have gone up for the arrival of the masses for spring break/easter. everything is much busier this week compared to last.

Weather has been great 78-84 and mostly sunny!

1.24 here in Delaware. It has jumped at least 18 cents in the last two weeks.

Mike :(

Those prices are great! I just paid $1.44 here in central Florida.

it ranges here from 1.39 at the no name place, and big name one are 1.44 to 1.55 this summer we got down to 1.00 and that was nice, in June when we went to michigan it was almost 2.00, and we had to cut are trip short.

NJ is the best because you get that cheap price for FULL SERVE!

Well, mostly its they pump the gas until it clicks off, whether its full or not. I can't recall the last time they checked the oil, tire pressure, washed the windows, etc...or even offered.

:)

One station I go to washes the windshields & offers to check the oil. Maybe I look like I need help with my car (& I do) :) They usually click it up to the nearest dollar or $0.50.

Even when they do nothing except pump the gas & take your money, it's still better than having to do it yourself for a higher price!

I guess years of having to correct and redo computer operators work has left me wary. We UNIX admins tend to only trust things we do ourselves. On both our car and truck, rounding to the nearest convenient change amount means a non-full tank. :-(

There has been rumblings over the years about making NJ self serve. I never hear more than the initial rumblings, but NJ has alot of strange laws...many of which were passed ages ago in a different world. Maybe the lawmakers in NJ don't think their residents can pump gas without blowing themselves up. :)

Happy Holiday Weekend,
Joe

Be sure to fill up on the GA side of the GA/FL state line. GA has much cheaper gas than Florida.

It's $1.22 in NW Georgia right now. If you go on I-75, I'd suggest stopping in Calhoun or Cartersville for gas, it seems to be cheaper in that area (or get a Walmart giftcard, gas is .03 cheaper if you use one at their gas pumps, their gas prices are pretty competitive with the local gas stations).

The cheapest I've been able to find in Woodbridge Va is 1.31 for Reg unleaded. 3 weeks earlier I paid .97 at the same location.
