Yup. Don't worry about it. On just about every Turbo'ed car they ask you to use premium only for that extra hp gain. If you use regular, the worst thing that would happen would be the timing getting retarded.

Save your money ::yes::

The cheap stuff is $2.03 - makes me glad I don't live in Canada or the UK! (apologies to CdnDisneyNut & Marlo)

I just filled up today at $1.89 a gallon for regular and I actually drove around looking for the best price. This is in the NY Metro area. I should drive over to Jersey, it's always cheaper there and they do the work for you, here in NY you usually fill up your own tank. Last night on Jimmy Kimmel they had a contest to see who could come closest to guessing how much it costs to fill a hummer. It took 30 some gallons and cost $73.00. So I guess that show must come from California! :smooth:

Yep, Jimmy Kimmel is in Los Angeles. He used to be part of one of the local radio morning shows. I really missed him when he left.

Melbourne $1.77
On Property $1.85 at Exxon soon to be Hess
Kissimmee 1.59 at Wal-Mart

all 87 octane regular.

Now ask me what milk and bread cost living right behind the MK!:earseek:

Yesterday it was $1.59 today $1.65 for regular unleaded. Should have bought it yesterday.

So how much is bread....LOL...

And where behind the MK....I go that way all the time when I go to Cast Connections

Gas is around $ 1.59 a gallon here, but Kroger is running a special promo that if you buy $ 50.00 worth of groceries you can get a voucher to buy gas at $ .99 a gallon at their pumps. :teeth:

1.85, 1.95, 2.05 seems about average here this week. I was amazed to see it as low as 1.45 in Atlanta a few days ago.

I just paid 1.74/gallon 87 octane a couple days ago.

I've seen them as high as 1.89/gallon for 87.

Just a few weeks ago it was 1.59:rolleyes:

$1.59 for the cheap stuff. It was $1.49 last week. I've read gas prices have gone up, on average, 15 cents in the last few weeks, but I can't remember the inane reasoning for it.

Nothing like getting hosed by the big oil companies again....

Dallas area is like 1.65.

Saw where they are saying its going to be the highest average ever.

Its all a big scam...

oil company reasoning...
"well...it was a cold winter that started out early...."
Well no kidding...Doesnt it always get cold around Oct? Brain surgeons....

"since it was so cold and lasted so long, consumer demand forced us to use more"
Well, once again...NO KIDDING you idiot... Its ALWAYS cold from Oct-Mar.....

Then with the oil companies taking our money, airlines raise rates because every .01 change in the price of jetfuel, they lose another 30 million a year. I thought thats why they bought a year out for and hedged it. If thats the case then arent they double dipping? (yes...for those of you who have seen my posts, I work for an airline, but I dont condone their actions...)

I could go on and on, but I wont.....

Gas apparently is ranging anywhere from 1.58 to 1.77 for regular in Shakopee, MN, according to TwinCitiesGasPrices.com. That's quite a range for a town that is a decent size, but not huge.

This website is part of a larger network where people post gas prices as they see them. It's kind of interesting to see the differences from town to town, as well as see which stations are obviously having a price war. There's also a small chart on the left side of the page towards the bottom that shows you the average price for your area and the country in the last day, week, month and year.

http://www.gasbuddy.com/

They've been talking on the news that they are expecting to see gas go over $2 for regular on average in the Twin Cities, which is a pretty big deal since that happens far less often here than it does in CA or even Chicago.

$1.77 as of last night

Yesterday morning it was $1.68 for the cheapest stuff here. Last night it was $1.63. Go figure.
