Gas prices GA vs FL

Just returned today. I will post a detailed trip report later but wanted to let you know to GAS UP IN GA BEFORE YOU CROSS THE STATE LINE. Last Sat. there was a 30 cent PER GALLON difference in prices between GA & FL.

It has always been that way. the tax on gas in Fl. is a lot higher. It also varies from county to county in Florida.

We just got back a week ago ,And stopped at Sams Club in Ocala they had gas as cheap as i can buy in Georgia.And on average was 20 cents cheaper than the station across the street.But you do have to be a member to get gas there.
