Gas Price Check

It's $1.81 at the station closest to my house. It usually is cheaper by a penny or two than the shell station.

According to my frequently-consulted bookmark of Twin Cities gas prices, the lowest in the area is $1.88 and the highest is $2.20; a vast majority of the stations have been at $1.95-$1.99 for the past 10 days or so.

I paid $1.93 on Tuesday, I bet the Anoka/Ramsey area is down to about $1.89 by now. I'm so glad, I hope it goes even lower!

It would be helpful if everyone told what their states tax on a gallon is. That way comparing prices would apples to apples.

Reminds me of my mother. On many of our trips to WDW we drop my mother off at my Aunts house in Atlanta. From where we live in Ohio we can make it to somewhere in Tennessee before having to fill up. Mom of course comments on the price of gas when we fill up. When we cross into Georgia she is just astounded by how cheap gas is. Every trip I have to tell her that the tax in Georgia is cheaper and that's why it's less than in TN. Of course on our return trip she can't believe how expensive gas is in TN after spending a week or so in Georgia. Man I love her!

Here in NW OH I've seen gas from 1.92 to 1.96 this week. And our state/fed tax totals $.45/gallon in OH.

My station is still at $1.99, but I did see it as low as $1.95 today.

Was under $2.00 but for some reason it shot up to $2.05 everywhere on wednesday...

I heard gas usually shoots up on Thursdays for the weekend travelers.

I bought it for $1.97 this morning at 10am.. then at 11pm I saw it for $2.11.

Wow!! Talk about cheap!! Here in NYC, gas is still up over $3.00/gallon. I just paid $3.45/gallon in midtown!

Saw gas at $1.97 last night near my house-- which is usually higher than most because it is off the interstate. Prices can swing 5- 10 cents within 10 miles.

Yep, I just paid $2.35, that is pretty much the lowest in my immediate area.

Wow, there are some lucky people here! I haven't seen gas under $2 in a long time. On Long Island the average is still about $2.35.

Saw gas last night--and happily my tank was quite low--for $1.89. I just about crashed the car! It has been hovering around $2 and I didn't think we would ever see the 180s again! In my town it is $1.94

Can't believe it is so high in NY! Ouch! I was dying at $2.60 which is about as high as we ever got.

Oh man! Are you kidding me? I guess I am extra glad I filled up in Big Lake last night then. Hey, have you noticed that the new Coborns on Hwy 10 and Armstrong always has the same price as that really cheap place in Anoka down 10 but Coborn's actually has gas consistently?

Oh man! Are you kidding me? I guess I am extra glad I filled up in Big Lake last night then. Hey, have you noticed that the new Coborns on Hwy 10 and Armstrong always has the same price as that really cheap place in Anoka down 10 but Coborn's actually has gas consistently?

I wish I was kidding, it was the SA in Rogers, which is always the first station to go up. I don't make it down 10 very often, but I have noticed most stations down there are cheaper. I usually get gas on HWY 55 in Mtka by my office, cuz it's cheaper than at home.
