Gas cards from My Points

My Mom and I are driving down to WDW in November. I am wondering which kind of gas cards I should redeem for at My Points. They have several different ones: Exxon, Shell, Mobil, and Citgo. I know I can find all of those stations locally, but I don't know about the drive down. Are some those stations more popular along I-95 than others? Which ones do you get for your trips?

We drove down last September and I had Exxon for the trip down.We didn't get gas until we were on I-95. We never had a problem finding an Exxon station.I hope there are Shell stations also.I have some of them for our next trip down.Hope that helps. April

Since you mentioned Exxon, I went looking at their site.

Try punching in any address and then zoom out and out and .... you'll see "red dots" up and down the east coast. I can only assume that some of those would be along your way.

I can't remember what kind of stations we stopped at.

I know there are Citgo stations, as that is the card I chose to use last year when we drove down. I wasn't sure about Exxon or Shell, but remember seeing tons of Citgo stations along the way in the past. With either one, you shouldn't have a problem, but I would check the individual web sites for their location information, just to be safe!

When we drove down in December, we had a few Mobil gas cards and we never had a problem finding a place to use them. There are lots of places right off I-95 that have restaurants/gas stations/hotels....they are everywhere! LOL...I know they have Exxon as well because we had 1 $10 gas card for there and I remember seeing them all the time along the Interstate!

Exxon!! There are, I think, three Exxon stations on property at WDW (and they are cheaper than the stations right outside the main entrance - the one where the DTD hotels are).

Just thought I'd mention that you might need to allow plenty of time to order your gas card from MyPoints. We ordered one in early February from Exxon for our trip in March, and I didn't get it until yesterday! All of our other MyPoint cards for restaurants came in around 3-4 weeks from the time we ordered them. Next time I'll know not to wait so late to order them!

The first time I ordered gas cards I got a variety since I couldn't remember what gas stations I would see. I ended up with a Mobile card left over because I could never find one. Used it on the next trip but this time I ordered Citgo cards because I knew there would be a ton of them along the way.
