I never thought 1.99 for a gallon of gas would be such a "bargain!" :cool1: How much is gas in your neck of the woods?

$1.96 in Olathe, Kansas...crazy that it sounds so cheap!

These falling gas prices are getting me so excited! It makes me want to hop in the car and drive to Disney World!!!:car:

$2.42 in Anaheim, Ca :sad2:
Hopefully it'll go lower.

Does anyone know what it is in WDW? We were there last month and it was $2.22.

Sooz :flower: :hippie:

just went to 1.99 here in green bay wisconsin, too. never thought i would be happy to see 2.00 a gallon.

$1.89 in Holland, Michigan

plus, family fare (our local supermarket)...if you buy their weekly item, (2 gallons of milk, 2 loaves of bread, 1 family size ground beef, spend fifty $$....) you get a coupon for 10 cents of a gallon of gas (up to 40 gallons) at their gas station!! you can use 3 coupons at 1 time. we just used 2 coupons together, so we paid $1.69 per gallon!! we piggy back both of our vehicles so both get filled up for that price!

Filled up at $1.89 last night across the river but most places on this side are $2.09 (wow...oil went up a massive $2/bbl, better hike them gas prices). And the first station to raise prices around here? Speedway. They have been the 1st to raise for at least a year now.

It was 1.97 for regular unleaded in north alabama. We use mid and high grade in our cars, so I haven't gotten to below $2.00 just yet. Hoping though!!

I'm just glad it's down to below $50 to fill up my truck. All of the auto pumps at my favorite gas station automatically stopped at $50, and wouldn't let you have a 2nd transaction immediately. So, to fill my truck, I had to use two different cards.

Gas here in Walton NY is at 2.47 a gallon... seems as if we are the most expensive so far... I'm thrilled though, cos just last month it was over 2.60!:scared1:

What exit and how far down the road?

I come down I-95.

And I'm sure that folks living in other parts of the country can make use of directions from their freeways.

There was a time last year, a period of several weeks, when one station near me was the cheapest in town. Then one day, fortunately I was not buying gas, I passed by it and saw it was the most expensive of all of the stations, about ten, in town I passed that afternoon.

The $1.99 stations are on S. Saunders St. These stations are right off I40, but would be 30 miles from I95. However, at Exit 116 (hwy42) off I95 in Wilson Co is a place called Deans Oil Company. They are .5 mile from 95, and are usually 15 cents cheaper than the two stations at the exit. Today they are $2.04. If you are going South, turn left at the top of the exit; if you are heading north, turn right at the top of the exit.

$2.47 in Westchester County, New York. Waiting for it to drop again? Some of these prices make me think that it may be worth it to drive down this summer. Last summer we got hit hard driving down to Disney, the prices were so high. The cheapest gas we got was the gas in Disney!

i (happily) paid $2.39 today... it's been up around $2.50 'til earlier this week...

gas in albany ny for mobil regular is $2.43 and it just came down its cheaper on the masspike and 20 cents a gallone cheaper at our daughters outside of Boston
