How often do you have garlic bread with dinner?

Do you make it yourself or buy it already made?

My children love garlic bread. Any kind but they esp like the Pepperidge Farms frozen bread. I swear I could serve them pancakes and they would still ask for bread.

Anyone else?

Not very often at all... We all LOVE bread.

Garlic bread ( I do the Texas Toast), garlic cheddar biscuits, French bread dipped in olive oil, homemade rolls, etc..... But I only serve it once a month or so because it is not good for you.

I have odd children who love salads and vegetables. So I dont mind them having it.

Guess my children are "odd" too because they like veggies. Only my oldest likes salad though.

I make the biscuits from Bisquick, but I found a Red Lobster brand mix at SAMs last month that is pretty good.

Combination. Our local Butera has 99 cent half loaves, so we get that occasionally. Or I'll make our own.

VERY occasionally, I make the Pioneer Woman's "The Bread." Amazing.

I do make corn muffins or biscuits frequently. Great biscuit recipe.

We don't eat bread too often at home so it's rare that we have garlic bread. When we do, I make it with fresh Italian bread.

The Pioneer Woman's buttered rosemary roll are AMAZING too.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, garlic bread.
But, only allow myself to have it like a couple times a year....
OMG, I would weigh a ton!!!!

Yes, the TEXAS TOAST garlic bread, from the box in the freezer, is very good!

Not too often. We usually have Italian bread with butter or olive oil if we're having bread at all. But I sometimes get the Alexa frozen garlic baguette when they are BOGO, my kids love it.

I love the Pioneer Woman! I will definitely make The Bread next week! I love buttermilk biscuits but my DH is a weirdo who prefers CANNED! He does not deserve my biscuits.

DH makes it using pita bread quarters (split). Soft in parts, crunchy in others - so good! :goodvibes

I like to do garlic bread on the grill in the summer when I'm grilling chicken and vegetables. Since I started doing this we have it a lot more often.

I prefer to buy a loaf of bread and butter it myself. We don't like as much butter as they use on prepackaged stuff.

The whole family loves garlic bread. I make it once in a while always home made and usually with Italian food or steak. My sons like it when I melt mozzarella over the top. The best is when I slice a filet mignon thin after grilling it and put it on the garlic bread.

DS and I are huge fans of garlic bread. DH not so much. We love to have it with any italian pasta type dish. I did discover the Joseph Campione brand has a light texas toast. Only 80 calories a slice, and I only cook enough for one meal at a time - 2 pieces for DS and 1 for me. Its def not as tasty, but worth the trade off!

Very rarely. I try not to serve many starches. But I'll make it maybe once a year - never buy it.

Not that often since it's just empty carbs. My dd does love it though. I make it myself when I do serve it so I can control the ingredients. I mix butter, olives oil and chopped garlic and thinly spread it on fresh Italian bread. Most of the frozen stuff, even the good brands, have added preservatives that I try to avoid whenever possible.

I love garlic bread! Mum doesn't like garlic at all though so Dad and I only get it when she isn't around or when eating out.

We love garlic bread/toast with spaghetti, lasagna, etc. but we make our own, don't like the pre-made bought bread. It's way too greasy and is loaded with more calories than taste to us.

This made me giggle for some reason, it's funny how different everyone is.

Being Italian, every Sunday was pasta day and with it was meatballs, sausage, salad, and garlic bread!

My mom made garlic butter (butter and garlic cloves mixed together) and would either make it on French bread or sliced Italian bread.

Delicious. :)

I don't have it that much anymore, a coupe times a month if I buy it, or when I go visit for Sunday dinner.

I do order it from restaurants if we get take out Italian.
