Gardenwalk - walkable from BWPPI?

Is the Gardenwalk walkable from BWPPI, or is it better to take a taxi? I am having slight last-minute possible mind change on Goofy's Kitchen, as my son really wants to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. If walkable, how would I get there?

And does anybody know if Cheesecake Factory takes reservations?

This would all be tentative, but just a change of plans that I am contemplating.

We stay at the hotel right next to the BWPPI, and walked to and from the Garden Walk last year. My youngest was 5 at the time. It was a very easy walk. From your hotel, head south on Harbor and take the first left on Disney Way. You'll see the mall entrance when you turn. I'm not sure where the Cheesecake Factory is, but we ate at Bubba Gumps (on Katella) and we had to walk through the entire Garden Walk mall to get there. But I liked walking through the mall better than walking on Harbor all the way down to Katella.

The Cheesecake Factory is on Katella also, on the southeast corner of Gardenwalk, so unless you want to walk through the mall it would be easier to just continue east on Disney Way to Clementine and then turn right. This is the faster way to get to CF since there are several elevation changes within the mall, and then you can always stroll through GW after dinner.

The CF near us does not take reservations. Not sure if you can call ahead to get your name on the wait list or not

It would be easiest from the Villas to walk down DL Drive to Katella and then east on Katella to Bubba Gump's - about 1 mile. It's up to you whether that's a walkable distance. PF Chang's and Cheesecake Factory are all in the same general vicinity on Katella.

We walked from Grand Californian to Garden Walk for lunch at PF Changs and then got some take out dessert from Cheesecake Factory and walked back. It was a nice walk and really not too far. I would walk again. We walked from the hotel, through DTD and out onto I think it's Harbour and along that way. My DS was 10 yr old and he was fine with the walk.
