Do you have any subscriptions to gardening magazines, or are there some that you buy every month?

We subscribe to two, Canadian Gardening and Fine Gardening.

I subscribe to 2. Water Gardening, plus I also purchase a few at the market every now and then.

My second one is Fine Gardening this is the "Cream of the Crop" It is the best magazine on the market. Each month it highlights certain plants. They are the most informative articles I have ever read in a magazine.

Does better homes and gardens count? and it seems i rarely have time to read it.

I purchase Garden Gate for a Christmas gift for my mother, and she passes them on to me!!

I get BH & G, too, but it seems that most of the articles are just showing off beautiful gardens, with little practical information.

What is a good basic magazine for a beginner?

So far two thumbs up for Fine Gardening, it really is an excellent magazine.

I've got Birds & Blooms, possibly one of the only magazines left that is totally ad-free.
