We just used them for all of our breakfast foods. We did the small boxes of cereal, orange juice, milk, donuts, cinnamon buns, apple juice juice boxes, and fruit. Hope this helps!

We ordered the milk and water but we also got some juice boxes for breakfast. With my 3 kids, we saved a few dollars a day just giving them the juice box from Garden Grocer instead of buying juice at the resort. I also ordered some apples for the kids and DH.

You can ask them to get a specific product brand. We did for a couple of food items and they came thru for us.

Are you going to do breakfast food or just want snacks & drinks for the parks?

Great company, great service, and a great experience!

I used Garden Grocer for the first time during my trip 2 weeks ago and the service was not good. I scheduled delivery for around 6pm and I received a call saying delivery would be more like 8-9pm. I told them that would be no problem. Well I had to call several times before finally receiving delivery at MIDNIGHT! The guy I spoke with (OWNER) was rude and told me that I was being unreasonable (to expect delivery within 6 hours of scheduled time) and that he had been working 18+hours that day. I had 4 small children in our party and I was waiting on milk and water, etc. Had I known that I wasn't going to get our order until MIDNIGHT I would have picked up some milk at the general store.

I have previously used wegoshop.com on 2 occasions and they were great. In fact, they call while shopping to consult about substitutions, etc. I should have used them this time.

We had a great experience with garden grocer in July. We ordered a lot of stuff (like to eat breakfast in the room) - 2 cases of water, a case of soda, juice boxes, orange juice, cereal, yogurt, snacks (pringles, pretzels, goldfish), shampoo and conditioner, soap, apples, bananas and mini muffins. DH also ordered beer (just put it in the additional comments box). We couldn't have been happier with them and will definitely use them on our next trip.

We have a really short trip planned for only three days. We put in an order for a case of bottled water, a 12 pack of Coca Cola Zero (which we won't be able to find at WDW), a four pack of Starbucks Mocha Frappucino, 4 plain bagels, 4 bananas, a jar of peanut butter, and a pack of weight watcher eclairs. Basically, we got breakfast for 2 days on the go, fluids, and a treat for my honey each night. The price, even with tip was far less than what Disney would have charged us, so it saved time and money. Maggie

We used Gardengrocer and plan to again in October. If you want a certain brand of diapers you should call them. They've been known to get exactly what you are looking for.

We bought bottled water, milk, coffee and creamer, cream cheese, bagels, fresh fruit, donuts, soda etc. All was very good and very fresh. I'm looking forward to ordering again from them!

This surprises me! :sad1: We had Brian, the owner, deliver to us in March and he was very nice, very polite and very efficient. Within half an hour of arriving at the resort we had our food delivered and we were ready to go. I don't remember ever seeing a negative report about their service. I'm sorry that this happened to you and I hope that this isn't the direction they are taking as they continue to grow!

We used Wegoshop and were very happy with the service we received. We sent them a list of just what we wanted, could even tell them which store we wanted them to shop from, we used Walmart since I am familar with what they carry and their prices.
All items were received as ordered. Cold items were in coolers. We also ordered beer and wine coolers.
We were given the original receipt from the store so we had an itemized receipt which was very good since our order was for 3 different familys.

The person who delivered our order was very friendly, he called first and delivered everything right to our room.
We would be very happy to use them again.

We're planning on doing some grocery shopping when we arrive in October (first time with anything more than a mini-fridge).

Is the garden grocer reasonbly priced? We were thinking about finding a Publix somewhere down the road to get some refridgerated necessities.

Is there a Publix down the road? (or any grocery store. . .just using Publix because I know they are in Florida. . .Giant isn't)

AJColorado,
We have used wegoshop.com 4 times and have been please every time. I looked at Garden Grocer but we were not impressed with what we considered a limited list of choices. With wegoshop.com, we were able to specify where to shop and exactly what we wanted. We got everything we ordered, in a timely manner. Take a look at their website.

Another GREAT experience with Garden Grocer

I found their prices very similar to my grocery store at home, and everything I wanted was available. I even asked specifically for bran muffins (just love em) and they were able to bring us some. I had a very small time slot of availability (about 45 min from the time we checked in until we had to go for dinner) for them to deliver the groceries and they fit us in perfectly! In fact, our groceries arrived about 10 minutes after we arrived in our room. He unpacked everything and loaded the perishables into our frig for us. Very good service! I highly recommend Garden Grocer!

Can someone share how the costs ran? Not the food costs, but the cost of the services for WEGO and GG? i was on the GG website and I could not find how much the service would cost minus the cost of the food.

Thanks,

Maz

Garden Grocer charges $10, no matter how much or little your order totals (e.g. you could have just a Hershey bar delivered, it'd cost you about $10.65

We Go Shop's charge depends, I think, on where they're delivering to and has a $50 minimum

Goodings charges $20 and has a $50 minimum (and the generally the highest prices)

Somebody asked about Publix - yes, there are a variety of supermarkets, along with one or more Super Walmarts, in the Disney area. If you'll have a car, buying your own groceries is by FAR the cheapest option. Guests who use grocery delivery services generally don't have cars available, and the deliveries are cheaper than cabs.

Another option is www.netgrocer.com for non-perishables, and your resort's store for milk, etc.

Do you have to be there to accept delivery? We were going to order nonperishables from GG and pick up milk at the resort.

We just used them last Sunday. We had a great experience with them...ordered water, beer and wine.

We requested delivery between noon and 2 and he arrived at 11:55 just as we were arriving. They had gotten everything we requested.

According to their website, delivery inside WDW is $17 if the grocery total is under $100. It goes up from there. I didn't see a minimum delivery charge.

We have used wegoshop under the prior owner's and it was a positive experience. We're trying Garden Grocer this time though ... I have exchanged email and they have been helpful too.

I see in a few posts people mention getting milk in the resort store? What sizes do they sell? We are at WL - do they sell it there? My kids are big milk drinkers and I'd love to have some in the room. Thanks!
