I haven't seen anything lately about either of these services? We usually do our own shopping the evening we arrive, however, our upcoming trip is a short one (we arrive late Sunday afternoon and leave early afternoon Thursday) and it's just DH, myself, and our 5 yr old grandson, so we really don't need a lot of stuff. I hate to spend between an hour or two getting to the grocery and then shopping for just a few things, basically water, breakfast items, and a few things for a couple quick meals. Has anyone used either service lately? One question....will either service pick up any adult beverages? Since it's just the three of us going.....most likely DH and I will spend a few evenings on the balcony after our grandson is sleeping and it would be nice to have a few glasses of wine while relaxing.

I only used Garden Grocer, I thought it was great. My arrival was delayed and they waited for me, so that the food it could be delivered personally to my room.
All frozen items were kept on ice.

I emailed and asked if they could pick up beer and it was included with my order.

I was very pleased with their service.

I was thinking about ordering at gardengrocer but since I only want Breakfast foods and water, then maybe i'll just order from the resort, the prices are pretty much the same as GG and you only have to pay $5 fee, checkout DVC website to see prices.....not sure if they carry alcohol.

I can also give GardenGrocer a good plug - I ordered online for our last trip and they showed up just as scheduled with all items exactly how I had ordered - I'm already making plans to use them again on our next trip!

:thumbsup2

One of the advantages of ordering from DVC is that they'll put the groceries in your room for you, and the cold stuff in the fridge. You don't need to be there to accept the delivery.

Garden Grocer has a delivery fee, but the food prices are higher and selection is smaller when ordering from DVC.

We've used Gardengrocer 3 times now and have had great service each time. You do have to buy a minimum of $40 (not including any alcoholic beverages) and pay their $10 delivery fee. It sure is nice not having to shop when there is so many other FUN things to do!!!! Also, they will deliver to bell services if you have paid your account with a credit card prior to arrival. Bell services will keep things refrigerated/frozen that need to be.

I have heard good things about Marge from Wegoshop too!

Im trying to access wegoshop.com and get "cant view this site". Is this the right address??:confused3

I used wegoshop.com on our last trip. She was great. You could order anything you wanted and also let her know where you wanted her to shop. She was on time and had everything I ordered. She also said she would come back if I ran out of something.

We used wegoshop in Nov of last year. Marge was great she was very helpful. We will use wegoshop again in Aug.

We've used wegoshop a few times and Marge is great... Ordering is very flexible and she has always tried to work with us on delivery times.. She's even unpacked the groceries..

WE've used WeGoShop for our last 2 stays at BWV and were very pleased with them. I'm planning to use them again for our December trip.

We used wegoshop and I liked being able to specify every single thing rather than choose from a menu. I know GG lets you make special requests, but with wegoshop, everything's a special request; that's the way it works.

We will be using Gardengrocer for our 3rd time this June. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about their service. They are great! They were on time and we received everything we ordered.

We also directed some friends to use their service last year and they had great success. They will also add anything not on the list.

have a great trip!
Esmerelda :)
