Who do you prefer and why? We are thinking about using one or the other on an upcoming trip. TIA!

We have only used Garden Grocer and loved them. We're using them again in August.

I've only ordered groceries once. We used Garden Grocer and it was great.

wegoshop! You can pick exactly what you want & what stores she will get it from.

We've used wegoshop and it was great. I liked that I could choose my store and brands. She found instore coupons for some of the things we wanted & was very pleasant to work with.

We've used Garden Grocer twice and didn't like them either time. Both times they didn't have what we ordered in stock and so they substituted other items for us. Normally that wouldn't have been a big issue but since we wanted to take some of the items into the park it made a big difference. For instance, instead of a 24 pack of bottled waters they gave us 2 six packs of HUGE waters that was the same amount ounce-wise but WAY too big to carry into the parks. They did the same thing with sodas...instead of a small 12 pack they gave us a couple of big bottles. Not a big deal if you're at home but a major deal if you're planning on using them in the park. They also forgot a couple of items on one of the orders and the person we spoke to about it was rude. Since then we've just either rented a car and stopped at Target on the way to the hotel, or DH has taken a cab back to the store after we've checked in. I don't like paying premium grocery prices as well as delivery charges and tip to a company that doesn't get my order right. I haven't tried WeGoShop but if I did want to order my groceries in again I think I'd try them next time.

For the people that have used Garden Grocer- how far in advance would you recommend ordering from them? We leave Sept. 24.

Thanks!

I used we-go-shop and was very pleased. Marge was wonderful to work with.

I haven't used either yet, but have been researching which we will choose. Have you looked at what items Garden Grocer carries? I found they do not carry a few of the items we would order, two of them being Fiber One brand honey clusters cereal and Fiber One bars. I do not want something similar because of some picky family members. If you have any real specific items you want wegoshop might work better.

I've use gradne grocer the 2 years running and plan to do so again this year and I've been happy with them and haven't had a problem

When I first was deciding who to order from 2 years ago I explored both wegoshop and garden grocer - i even called wegoshop and spoke to them. They were very nice, but in my comparison the delivery charges and such didn't make them less expensive then garden grocer and for what I was ordering they may have cost more.

Garden grocer offers alot, but is stilllimeted in its brands and such. Take a look online to see if they have what you want and what you think of the prices. I usually order 3 to 4 weeks in advance just to make sure the day and time I want for delivery isn't "sold out".

wegoshop may be better if there are particular brands and products you prefer that are not on garden grocer and if you are familiar with the stores they shop at and the sales and such...

We used Gardengrocer a few weeks ago, and were very pleased! I'm pretty sure wegoshop charged more for the delivery fee, and that was our deciding factor. Gardengrocer delivered on time and everything was exactly what we ordered. I will definitely order from them again.

I would probably order a week and a half to two weeks ahead of time. I noticed they would have signs on their website that, due to high volume, they weren't accepting orders for upcoming dates. So, order ahead of time to avoid that disappointment!

We used GardenGrocer in August and were very happy. We got exactly what we ordered and it was delivered to our room right on time. I placed the order 3 or 4 weeks ahead of time.

Now if we had received different sized items as a pp mentioned I would not have been happy since we also ordered bottled water and canned soda to take the the parks/pool, but luckily we did not have that problem.

We used we-go-shop last year and it was a wonderful experience. Marge was so nice and we could add to our order up until a few days before.

I used Wegoshop for my last trip, but haven't used Garden Grocer. Although Wegoshop's delivery fee is slightly higher than Garden Grocer, there isn't a markup on the grocery items. They shop at whatever store you tell them to and then charge you the cost of the items plus the delivery fee. The items on Garden Grocer's website seem to be significantly more expensive than what I would pay in a store. When you add in the markup on the grocery items, the cost of the two services are probably at least equal. I liked the fact that I didn't have to place a minimum order with Wegoshop to be able to order alcohol. With Garden Grocer, I would have had to order $40 in food/non-alcoholic beverage items before they would deliver alcohol. With Wegoshop, there was no minimum.

I called Wegoshop when we were on the Magical Express to let them know we were on our way to the resort. Then I called again as soon as I was checked in and had my room number. They arrived to deliver the items less than 10 minutes after we got into our room.

I used Garden Grocer in November. Everything arrived at the resort after we checked in, and the Garden Grocer delivery guy called my cell phone to let me know it was at the resort. I priced an order with WeGoShop and GardenGrocer both, and GG was slightly cheaper. I've read good reviews about both.
