Silly kinda question but i've always walked it to the Garden Walk, but I hear there are shuttles that take you there too. I would assume you just grab them in the Disneyland Bus Loop right?

Yep- took them on Sunday. Always a bus at Garden Walk and always a bus ready to go at the RED ZONE at the exit of the park. I will be parking there from now on if I can versus Mickey or Timon parking as it is so much faster than waiting in line for the tram.

Excellent thanks for the info! :thumbsup2 It wouldnt be so bad of a walk, I am just gonna have a friend with me who had surgery on her knee a month ago. I wanna make it as easy for her as possible.

I think it was you who posted on a different thread about this and it intrigued me since I hate waiting for those trams (we usually walk back to the parking structure). But I'm assuming that it wouldn't be an option for us since we paid for parking with our APs and I believe it specifies that you have to park in Mickey and Friends with AP parking. :confused3

The Garden Walk is a shopping complex located on Katella. It's not Disney affiliated. You could park there if you wanted and shuttle to Disney and Disney wouldn't care.

Does the Garden Walk charge for parking? The one time we ate there we got a ticket that was validated for parking. If you have to pay to park, it doesn't make sense to me. Unless there's free parking.

To clarify : although Garden Walk is not Disney-affiliated, there are days on which DLR makes use of its parking spaces. That is, DLR parking signs and personnel may direct you to park at Garden Walk. On other days, parking at the center when not shopping there is not permitted and definitely ill-advised.

Thanks, I didn't know that the GW ever allowed you to park there and shuttle to DLR. Guess we're never there when it's that crowded. Personally, I would park at M&F anyway, since I have parking inc. with AP. If I was directed to the GW to park I would probably go home since I would figure the parks would be way too crowded! :crowded:

If the line for the tram is too long, we walk. Doesn't talk too long and DD9 actually loves to do the walk. :goodvibes

Okay, thanks, that makes sense. The PP had mentioned getting directed to park there the other day which is why I was confused about if it was run by disney or not. I wasn't sure if they only directed people to park there on certain days or if it was an official DLR parking lot.

We walk too but DS is only 3 and has some medical issues that makes him sometimes have low stamina so I end up carrying him most of the way. Sometimes we do bring our own stroller but other times we rent one there so we don't have it for the walk back. But I figure if we're waiting for the tram, I'm going to have to hold him while we're waiting anyway to keep him from laying down on the ground in that crowd of people which he probably would do out of boredom while waiting. So if I'm going to hold him for awhile, we might as well walk back at the same time.

So the shuttles , all of them lead to the same places and all go by the garden walk? also do these shuttles have chair lifts?
