I was wondering if there is free transportation from Disneyland to Garden Walk? We are eating at Fire + Ice and have a party of nine and it would be too difficult to load up a couple of cars and pay to park over at Garden Walk.
Thanks in advance!

I do not know for sure but was checking this very thing last month myself. Apparently there is no bus. You have to walk or drive yourself from DLR.

I thought I read that the ART busses will go there? Maybe someone can help with this one!

So it looks like you would have to pay and
there is no free option. Is that correct? The one
day pass for nine people would run $27! That's
steep just to go there to eat.

It's not that long of a walk, but maybe you can get a van-taxi that will hold your group and that should be a pretty cheap taxi ride. Then you can decide if you want to walk back afterward.

Hold the phone ... note that Fire+Ice is on the top floor near the movie theater and thus the north end of Gardenwalk. If the taxi drops you off on Katella then you've got a significant walk anyway. Here's a map that shows the approx path if you were walking from DL.

Last June and October there were large buses transporting folks from DLR to and from the Gardenwalk for free. I was hoping to use them at the end of the day on our trip in May as we're staying at the Residence Inn Maingate. I just called the Gardenwalk and talked to the folks there to find out more. They told me that the free buses only run on days when Disneyland is using the Gardenwalk parking garage, like next Sunday, for instance, they said. They said that you could call, 714-490-6100, and check the week or day of your visit to see if and when the free buses would be running. The representative also said that the dates change frequently. Hope this helps someone......

We stayed at Grand Californian and we went to Garden Walk for a couple of meals. We just walked there and back, it isn't far at all.

Of course it was. I'm well aware of the new lot and it's impact on the parking situation. However, the lady I spoke to at the Gardenwalk indicated that the buses were still running from time to time.
