Garden Suite for BWI....

Even though the 2008 rates are not out, do you think that it would be wise for me to try to reserve a garden suite room now and then just add a package later? I am sure those suites are hard to get. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

I'm sure you'll be fine waiting for a package. The 2008 rates are supposed to be this summer. We stayed there for our honeymoon at the villas, and wanted to extend our trip a day. We called 2 weeks prior to departure and were able to book the garden suite!

I always believe in booking the room as soon as possible. I normally book our room 11 months in advance, then change over to a package at a later date. I have a GS booked at the BWI during April 2008, it is never too soon.

The garden suites are awesome. The first time we stayed in one I booked it a few months out when AP rates came out. I think that was a one shot deal since I was never able to get a discount rate after that.

Does anyone know if you can use the AAA rate on a BWI Garden Suite, or is that only available on certain types of rooms? I want to book one for next February, and I am trying to get all the information together now.

Can I ask though that if I do decide to book the room and then add the package later, how do you add a package? Just call Disney and tell them that? Is it harder to add a package to an already existing reservation for a room or just wait til the packages come out? Thanks!
