Looking for any info on where the garden rooms are located at poly. I've been to the resort many times but never deep into it where all the rooms are. Is it a big resort like the CBR is ? It took us 10 min walking just to go fill our waters.

Please help with info on the best and worst rooms. We are most likely booking a garden view and would like closest to the main food area and not looking at the parking lot. those are our two biggest concerns.

We've stayed at the beach club and WL and everything was right there but the CBR was a nightmare of a walk.

Thanks!

CBR is huge. Right? Ok. The Poly is very small in comparison. Everything is close to each other. tikimanpages has all the info. you are looking for. Just google tikimanpages and you'll get there. I haven't check lately, but I know tikiman had a room map of each building and which classification they are (garden view, water view, an so forth).

I don't know if you know this but the Poly is construction city right now. Main pool closed down until Aprilish.

What about the garden view rooms that face the monorail? Is the monorail very loud or will you even notice it?

I didn't notice too much noise from the monorail, but the garden room we were assigned in Aerotorra (sp?) was at the far end of the building and was more like a look as far left as you can to see garden, otherwise you'll see grass, road and some tracks.

We ended up asking to be moved and got a nice room near the far beach. The luau noise was just the rhythmic sound of the bass.

We have stayed standard view at the Poly the last two years. The first time I think we were actually upgraded to a garden view room. We were on the first floor or Rarotonga and it faced toward the inside of the resort, it was very lush and pretty. This past year we were in a true standard view, still on the first floor or Rarotonga (this was our request) but facing to the outside of the resort. We could see the monorail, but there were lots of plants blocking any view of the parking lot. The monorail made zero noise that we could hear in our room or even when sitting on the patio.

Beach-side of Figi are great rooms IMO. 3rd floor balcony if you can get one. You can view them on the touring plans site under the resorts section.

Thanks for the help.

Since this is the first time Ive stayed at a monorail resort since I was a kid (CR), I wouldn't mind, and I'm sure my husband wouldn't mind either a view of the monerails. I just don't want a view of grass fields or parking lot.

I'll check out tikiman
