Description: 'Garden Party' was introduced in 1959, and the name certainly is reminiscent of that era. The flowers are cool white with pink and yellow blushes at the tips of the petals. The urn-shaped buds open to large, beautifully formed blossoms. Further, the initial flush of flowers is surprisingly plentiful for a rose with such large blooms; subsequent flushes follow throughout the remainder of the growing season. Fragrance is mild.
Habit is typical for Hybrid Tea roses, strongly upright. The dark green leaves set off the blooms well, and a well-maintained bush will have plenty of foliage. Use 'Garden Party' as a specimen or as a bedding rose
