Garden Party Bridal shower - info, ideas, and advice needed!

HelloFellow Dis-ers!! I am in the planning process of my sisters bridal shower and am coming to you all for some tips, insight, advice and ideas!! Our theme is Garden Party - it will be laid back and pretty low key.... Has anyone out there thrown a Garden Party type of shower, get together or Tea party that would liek to throw out some ideas, decorating tips, menu items... ???

I am the maid of honor and have started pulling things together with the other Bridesmaids. Here are some details; About 50 or so guests will be invited, in August around 3/4 pm, my backy yard... Dear Sister wants low key, comfortable and enjoyable. Not a lot of stuffiess and formality... More or less a get-to-know each other thing with gifts and such.

i have surfed the net for some decorating ideas and display exaples for food and such.... Also tossing around some menu items. I would love some feedback, ideas, dos and donts, favo ieas, decorating tips, suppies and so on and so forth.... Thanks!!

I dont have much right now - justthe invitations and the idea of a garden party/tea party kind of feeling. Myback yard isnt huge or on you'd find on HGTV,but its well groomed, a great flower bed and an amazing view of the Mountains... I have paper party lanterns and cintronella candles so far....
