Garden Grove

I saw this last night browsing MDE. It's located in the Swan, and the rotating buffet menu looks intriguing. I had never heard of this one before, but it's been a while since we were in WDW. Good thread. Hopefully you'll get some posts!

We have never been but considering it.

Tell me your experiences please?

If you are speaking of Garden GROVE (at the Swan) not Garden GRILL (at Epcot)......

We have plans to dine there (at their character breakfast) on our upcoming August trip. We were looking for something different, and liked the fact that Chip & Dale are generally there on the weekends :thumbsup2 .

We are paying OOP, but our CAA/AAA discount brings it down to be cheaper than a Disney character breakfast. I have an email from one of the concierges saying our server will validate our parking pass to save us the $15 fee to park our vehicle.

It looks like fun, and we are excited to try a new location.

We have been to the Garden Grove in the Swan and is one of our favorite breakfast places. No characters except on the weekends (Pluto & Goofy), great buffet, egg station (make eggs anyway you want from fried to omlets) with peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc. Nice relaxing atmosphere. 99% of the time there is no wait but when we did it was no more than 15 minutes.

Have not tried dinner but heard good things about it also.

We had dinner at Garden Grove, at the Swan, this June. We were there on "Southern BBQ" night (menu varies by night; check their website or allears.net). Food was pretty standard for a buffet, some hits, some misses. Restaurant was mostly empty, so character interactions were fantastic. It was Pluto and Goofy, they both made multiple rounds of the dining area and spent a lot of time with each kid. For a buffet character meal, I give it a solid :thumbsup2

Oh no, we go to Garden Grill every year. Love it.

I'm talking about Garden Grove, at the Swan. Character dinner.

They also have a character breakfast on the weekends only but nightly character meals too.

Do you mean "Garden Grill" at Epcot? We like Garden Grill.

No, Garden Grove.

We do Garden Grill every year too. That's one of the best one's out of the character meals.

I guess a lot of people don't know about Garden Grove?

Garden Grill?? If So ...

We went last year and the meals are served family style, and they WILL bring more food if you want or need it.

Actually the website states that they have a character dinner too.. nightly. Each night is a different meal plan, like one night is BBQ and another is Seafood etc.

At least two characters come around to your table at the dinner as well.

We have reservations for the seafood buffet in August. We are looking forward to it. I have seen mixed reviews, but we want to try it for ourselves.

Goofy & Pluto are at Dinner each night, Chip & Dale are added to the mix on Friday evenings for seafood night (which is the most expensive evening).
