Garden Grove? Always character meal?

Is this a character meal every night? I have seen some conflicting info. Online dining says its for dinner, but on the DIS says it s for breakfast on Sat and Sun only. Is it good? Any pictures?

There are characters at the Garden Grove every night. On Monday/Friday nights, it's Timon & Rafiki; all other nights, it Pluto & Goofy (I think).

Saying that, it is possible that they may change characters at the last minute. I went last Monday (expecting to see Timon & Rafiki) and the characters were Goofy & Max.

I keep trying to get reservations for October 31st for breakfast (180 days prior) and it tells me it has nothing available online. I even called at th 180 day mark and Disney Dining was stumped since they stated it is not that popular of a breakfast place. Any suggestions?

Character meals are just at night or at breakfast on the weekends. We went last November for dinner and the food was not great. None of us ate very much. However, the character interaction was excellent due to the fact that there was only maybe 5 other tables of people while we were there. We saw Goofy and Pluto. Goofy joined us at the table and Pluto got in the floor and played with the kids.
